01 · What ResellCheck does

ResellCheck helps you inspect a second-hand Android phone — checking the display, touch, speaker, microphone, sensors, camera, vibration, flashlight, network, battery and charging — and produces a health report you can save as a PDF and share.

02 · Information the app uses

All of the following is read and processed only on your device for the duration of a test. None of it is transmitted to us or to any third party:

• Camera — live preview for the display, camera and cosmetic tests. No photos are saved or uploaded.
• Microphone — measures input level during the mic test. Audio is analysed in real time and never recorded, stored, or uploaded.
• Motion & environment sensors — accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, light and magnetometer readings, used only to confirm each sensor responds.
• Device information — model, chipset, RAM, storage, display, battery health, Android version and security status. Shown in your on-device report and included in a PDF only when you choose to generate and share it.
• Network state — connection type and a connectivity check (a request to a Google reachability endpoint). No personal data is sent in this check.
• Vibration — triggers the vibration motor to test it.

03 · Reports you generate

Health-report PDFs are written to the app's own storage on your device. They stay there until you delete them or uninstall the app. If you share a report, it goes only to the recipient you pick through your device's share sheet — never to us.

04 · Payments

The optional PDF-report unlock (₹99) is processed by Google Play Billing. ResellCheck never sees or stores your card, UPI, or bank details — Google handles the entire transaction. We only receive confirmation that a purchase was completed.

License keys (optional). You can instead unlock the report with a license key. When you tap Activate key, the app sends the key and a one-way hashed device identifier (a SHA-256 hash of the app-specific Android ID — the raw ID never leaves your phone) to our server, hosted on Supabase. This is used only to check the key is valid and to make sure each key works on one phone; re-entering it on the same phone restores the unlock. We store the key, the hashed identifier and the activation time, and keep them for as long as the license is valid. Your IP address may be logged briefly to block repeated invalid attempts and is deleted within 24 hours. Nothing else about you or your phone is sent.

05 · What we do not do

• No user accounts or sign-in.
• No advertising or ad identifiers.
• No analytics or behaviour tracking.
• No selling or sharing of personal data with third parties.

06 · Children

ResellCheck is a utility for inspecting used phones and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

07 · Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
